Jon Evans
Jon Evans is serving in rural Kenya in partnership with Crossroads Bible Institute. His mission is to help establish self-replicating, self-sustaining, biblically healthy churches by equipping and teaching pastors and church leaders to “correctly handle the Word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). In order to accomplish this mission, Jon will be coming along side-selected graduates of the Bible Institute to further disciple and equip them for ministry.
Jon is a 2019 graduate of Trinity International University (B. A. Christian ministry with an emphasis on pastoral leadership) and an ordained pastor of Crossroads Fellowship Church, Nyali, Kenya. Over the past 6 years, Jon has had the privilege of participating in several mission trips to Kenya. With each trip, the Lord continued to increase Jon’s love for the Kenyan people, their culture, and produced in him a hunger to help eradicate the theological famine being suffered by many would be pastors in rural Kenya.
