Brent and Kerri Roberts
Brent & Kerri Roberts, along with Caleb (10), Gracyn (8), Thomas (8), Maddie (4) & Ellie (2), are missionaries serving in the Chikankata chiefdom in Southern Zambia. In this part of Zambia, there are few to no evangelical churches and fewer Christian believers. In fact, some of the villages in Chikankata have had no exposure to the Gospel in over 40 years! The people live in fear & bondage to witchcraft and animism, most live in abject poverty, are still impacted greatly by HIV/AIDS (20% of the population) and children die every day from preventable diseases.
The Roberts seek to glorify God in this area by proclaiming His Gospel in word and deed through faith-based outreach, leadership training and community development. They long for Zambians to have the opportunity to know and love Jesus, for churches to be established and strengthened, and for the needs of the poor and vulnerable to be met.
