Jeremy and Meghan Barker
Jeremy and Meghan are serving the Lord in Managua, Nicaragua. They both teach at Nicaragua Christian Academy International (NCAI). Meghan is the PK-12th Music Teacher and Jeremy is the Athletic Director and High School PE teacher. One of the most beautiful things about teaching at NCAI is that they get to pour into the future leaders of Nicaragua and teach all their students about spreading the love of Jesus to the world!
They both grew up on the U.S./Mexico border, which has helped them greatly in learning to communicate in Spanish. Growing up on the border gave them the opportunity to minister to the people of Acuña, Mexico through mission trips with their home church. Meghan was also a part of an international praise band that ministered in the U.S. and Mexico.
Jeremy and Meghan have ministered in both the English and Spanish ministries at Community Bible Church in San Antonio, TX since 2006. In 2007, they went on a mission trip with CBC to Guatemala. It was on that trip that their love for missions grew immensely!
Jeremy and Meghan understand that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that they will be effective in serving the people of Nicaragua. They continue to daily seek the Lord’s guidance in their ministry and are SO excited to see what He has in store!
