Philip & Cindy Fisk

 

Phil and Cindy Fisk have served overseas since 1987, first in Zaire, then after an evacuation in 1991, in Belgium since 1992. They helped establish two churches in Flanders, Belgium and each church has called a national as Pastor, trained at the Evangelical Theological Faculty (ETF) in Leuven. www.etf.edu

In 2008, Phil and Cindy Fisk joined the ETF faculty in Leuven, whose vision is:
“We equip leaders to be Biblically grounded, well educated, and culturally enriched, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to our World.”

As a full-time faculty member at the ETF, Phil teaches in the Historical Theology Department and is part of a team of teachers who train and mentor about 200 young men and women who come to the theology school mainly from Europe, but also from Asia, and Africa. Our graduates enter the ministry as church planters, theological educators, pastors of churches, or as leaders of Christian organizations.

Over the last three decades, the ETF Leuven has graduated over 1,100 students: 300 alumni work in church ministry, 200 alumni are missionaries, 200 alumni are teachers/professors and invest in secondary and higher education, 150 alumni lead Christian organizations, 100 alumni do youth work, 80% of alumni work throughout Europe, 20% of alumni work in countries of the Majority World.

Phil and Cindy also are active in the International Baptist Church-Brussels, where Cindy serves on the Barnabas Care Team for young mothers. Phil and Cindy also mentor young people in a small group at IBC.

Phil is an ordained minister of the Gospel in the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) and member of the EFCA ministerial since 1992.
