Caitlin McDonald

Utilizing her background in nursing and public health, Cait has partnered with Healing Nations to serve in Santo Tomas, Guatemala. Healing Nations strives to provide compassionate medical and dental care while building relationships with their patients, local ministries, and their medical ministry teams. They are purposeful in sharing God’s love through the avenue of medicine. Cait will also be helping with various community health projects through the Healing Nations medical outreach.

Cait grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA, and attended Eastern University for her undergraduate degree. After graduation, she moved to Florida to begin her nursing career and to pursue a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Florida. Since she was in high school, Cait has had a passion for serving others and engaging in underserved communities. After many short-term medical mission trips with other organizations, Cait found Healing Nations – and fell in love with the Guatemalan community. With approximately 35% of Guatemala’s population not having access to basic health and nutrition services, Cait is excited to partner with Healing Nations to bring physical and spiritual healing to the people of Santo Tomas and the surrounding communities.
