Jack and Carol Rothenflue
Jack is the Director of CTEN & alongside Carol directs the Pastoral Care ministry as well. Working internationally, they are based in the home office in Kerrville, Texas.
Thirty five years of Pastoral experience has prepared this couple to serve the worldwide missions community of CTEN. They give personal attention to missionaries and their families, including visits to their field of service. They are privileged to have two other pastoral couples serving alongside.
Jack oversees the day to day ministry operations of the mission and keeps the vision focused and clear. He communicates with those who are inquiring and a variety of other administrative matters. He manages the staff, the budget oversight and procedures on the mission.
Jack and Carol maintain consistent communication with those on the field keeping current on their needs, wants, and desires. They offer prayer, guidance and counsel to provide a quality of health that assures effective ministry. They also host visitors and visiting missionaries to the home office in Kerrville, Texas.
In addition, the Rothenflue’s are the link to the local churches that send missionaries on the field. They stay in touch with pastors and leaders in the US to help strengthen their missions’ ministry. Because of their extensive pastoral experience, they have a heart for pastors and leaders in the local church. They are a resource and source of encouragement to leadership.
Carol manages the needed ministry to women and children corresponding regularly. Her three decades of experience in women’s ministry and Christian education help bring wholeness to the approach of pastoral care to families. It is especially pertinent for the single women missionaries. She also gathers resources and materials that the missionaries suggest they need on the field. In addition, Carol coordinates the quarterly Orientations for new missionaries.
