Alisha & Ernesto Romero
Ernesto & Alisha will be serving the deaf community in the city of San Luis Potosi in partnership with a local church. Their vision is to integrate the deaf community in Mexico into the kingdom of God.
Their hope is to train and guide the deaf who have a calling to missions and being pastors so that they can reach their own people group as confident followers of Christ truly believing their identity in Christ. We hope to do this through business that will provide jobs with flexible hours that allow them to have time for ministry and training, an arts center that would include performances of the gospel and deaf culture, as well as providing the support they need emotionally to become who they fully are in Christ.
Ernesto moved from La Paz to Ensenada to go to Bible school and fulfill the calling God gave him. Alisha served the deaf in Ensenada for 16 years. They met when Alisha went to recruit at a Bible school and soon were married. They have two children, Grace (3 years) & Aaron (17 months).
