Ben and Susie Argil

Ben and Susie Argil have been best friends and partners in ministry since 1985. Their years of experience serving in Texas, Costa Rica, and Mexico as pastors, church planters, house parents, and teachers have equipped them well for their current ministry.

They reside in central Mexico, in the state of Guanajuato, where only 4% of the population are evangelical Christians.

Their inspiration and passion in ministry is to teach the Word of God, awakening hearts so that every person is presented with a clear understanding of truth and will know Jesus Christ as Savior, LORD, and friend.

Ben and Susie mentor Mexican pastors and co-labor with them to plant healthy, growing churches. They offer leadership training, encouragement, and resources to pastors.

Keeping pastoral families healthy is a priority. Ben and Susie saw the need to provide a place where couples serving in ministry can get away to rest, spend uninterrupted time with God, and return to the ministry, strengthened and refreshed. The Argils are in the process of building a small seaside cabin retreat to meet this need.

In many parts of Mexico, people are not familiar with God’s Word. The Argils are champions for biblical literacy and discipleship, using their creativity as teachers to foster a love of learning and teaching people to read and understand the Bible on their own.

Ben and Susie encourage volunteer teams to come alongside them, sharing in the gospel seed sowing and in the harvest of new believers.

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. —Acts 20:24
