MiKeila & Facundo Puentes

Facu & MiKeila are serving in a city of 7 million people- Guadalajara, Jalisco. It's a very aesthetically saturated but spiritually dark place. Only 2% of people identify as Jesus’ followers, and the majority of marriages end within their first few years. Iglesia Vida is a 5-year-old church plant in Zapopan, one of the burrows in the metropolitan area. It has many outreach programs for the community, discipleship, and regular visits to an underfunded local orphanage. Iglesia Vida is where Facu serves as a co-pastor alongside fellow CTEN missionary Neftali Rubio. MiKeila also serves with his wife, Alyssa, in various areas of the church.

Facu grew up in rural Northern Argentina, and MiKeila grew up near Portland, Oregon. They were both ministering in different countries before they met. Finally, they were both going to be in Chile at the same time, so mutual friends introduced them. One of the things they shared in common was a love for Mexico! And they've been married since March 2018. Now they have a daughter born in the pandemic named Kenya Victoria Puentes. Together they served four years as missionaries to the Argentine people in Santiago del Estero and Buenos Aires.

Facu has completed his Theology studies at Argentina's Word of Life Bible Institute and is currently getting his Master's degree in Ministry at Carolina University Online. MiKeila has completed her Theology studies at America's Word of Life Bible Institute and studied two years of Psychology: Christian Counseling with Liberty University Online.
