Chris and Samantha Visscher
Chris and Samantha Visscher are serving in Riobamba, Ecuador focusing on drinking water systems in rural communities. Chris and Samantha have been in Ecuador since 2016, currently working on water projects with Life Giving Water International and a national organization named CODEINSE. The ministry is primarily focused in the central Andes, with a particular connection to the Quichua community.
God has given the Visschers the desire to see entire communities transformed physically and spiritually. The Bible is very clear that we are to help the poor and needy; providing clean drinking water is one small way that we can use the tools that God has given us to help. In addition, the water projects provide an amazing relationship-building tool with the community, building trust with communities and opening doors within the communities for VBS, medical outreaches, bible studies, church planting, etc.
Chris and Samantha love serving with their four children, Ethan, Emilia, Benjamin, and Jacob.
