Jonathan and Rebekah Pifer
Jonathan and Bekah Pifer with their two sons, James and Asher, serve in Quito, Ecuador. They are The Country Coordinators for the Three Waves Movement which is partnered with Alteco. The Three Waves Movement is an effort of collaboration between the foreign church, the local Latino church, and the tribal church to reach the unreached throughout the Amazon Basin. Separately, we can do little, but united in Christ as one big wave, we can wash over the entire Amazon with the gospel! The Three Waves Movement is currently working with over 660 people groups. In the Amazon, there are more than 200 unreached groups, 70 of which are uncontacted. It is the goal of the Three Waves Movement to raise up and empower tribal missionaries to reach these people groups.
