Central America and Caribbean

Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North America to South America. It includes (7) countries and many small offshore islands.

Guatemala: Because there are so many missionaries in Guatemala, they are listed separately below.

Guatemala

A land of mountains, volcanoes and lakes, Guatemala is Mexico’s southern neighbor. Commission To Every Nation is one of the largest missions agencies in Guatemala.

Europe

Europe has enjoyed a relatively stable two decades – at least by its own tumultuous standards – almost unprecedented in its history. Most nations and peoples enjoy liberty and self-determination on a level not known for many generations. This stability has also assisted in the development of sophisticated and advanced economies that are more suited for the 21st Century than is true for most parts of the world.

Mexico

Mexico, while geographically in North America, is included for cultural, linguistic and demographic reasons with Latin America.

South America

Portuguese and Spanish are the most spoken languages in South America. Spanish is the official language of most countries, along with other native languages in some countries. Portuguese is the official language of Brazil.

US & Canada

Since the staff of CTEN is run by missionaries, many of the missionaries in the US and Canada work in CTEN offices. Others are working in impoverished areas or other missions ministries.
