Julia Barnett

After over a decade of living and ministering overseas in Honduras, Julia Armijo now lives in the United States serving Christ to bring the Gospel to refugees who are being resettled in the US. God has gifted her and given her the desire to serve these families from many different nations. She helps supply refugee families with basic necessities, secure housing, enroll their children in school and come alongside them each step of the way as they begin their new life in the United States. But most importantly, they share the Gospel and get to see how God is working through His body to bring salvation through the Gospel and spiritual transformation. The Christian organization she serves with ministers all over the world, across 100 countries, and throughout the United States in 17 cities. For over 75 years, the organization she serves with has been helping refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations. They have welcomed and served over 400,000 immigrants and refugees. She loves partnering with local churches and seeing how God works through His body, the Church, to bring the Gospel to these refugees from all over the world. Julia and her husband, Tony, were married in 2023 and now live in South Carolina.
