Patrick and Valerie Finnerty
Patrick and Valerie Finnerty will be serving in Rwanda with Africa Transformation Network http://at-network.org/ and Kigali International Community School https://kicsrw.org/respectively.
Pat and Val moved to Rwanda in 2005 to church plant with the Vineyard and passed the work over to the national leadership in 2016.
Val taught middle school English at KICS for 2 years and will be resuming her position in August. KICS offers a Christ centered, US accredited education to students from over 27 countries.
Pat has worked indirectly with ATN in Farming God’s Way training and is excited to be returning to work full time to help improve food sustainability in Rwanda. Pat also plans to use his TESL experience to teach conversational English using Scripture as a Curriculum.
Joel (21) and Brendan (18) who grew up in Rwanda are now living in Canada. Joel is working in Halifax and Brendan is taking Engineering at UNB.
