Pavlos and Meggan Vasileiadis

In September of 2011, Pavlos and Meggan began working as full-time volunteers at the Greek Bible College – the only Evangelical theological training center in Greece.  Pavlos spends his time working on website development, network administration, creating online capabilities for the library and online classes, and offering IT support for students and faculty. Meggan works as the librarian for the College’s impressive 17,000-volume Theological library. She also offers her music ministry skills for chapel services and giving piano lessons. Most importantly, the couple loves spending time interacting with and encouraging the Bible College students who are being equipped as leaders for the Church in Greece and beyond.

The Beginning…

In January of 2009, Meggan moved from small town Iowa to big city Athens, Greece and began building connections with several Greek churches and ministries. She served in a variety of ways including helping meet the basic needs of refugee families, sharing her music skills with the church, encouraging fellow missionaries, and building relationships intentionally to share the Truth. By the end of that year, her friendship with Pavlos – a connection through common ministry involvements – culminated in an engagement to be married.

In August of 2010, Pavlos and Meggan got married in Iowa, and in September they moved into their apartment in Athens. While considering their goals for life and ministry together as a couple, they began pursuing the possibility of returning to the States for a few years to attend seminary. During this process, they re-connected with an opportunity Pavlos had been offered several times since he was a Greek Bible College student in 2007: supporting the College with his computer programming expertise. When the couple realized how uniquely qualified they are to meet many urgent needs of the College, they gladly accepted the director’s invitation to join the volunteer staff and support the very important work they also desire to gain from: Biblical Education.
