Carter and Danielle Jackson serve in West Africa and founded the ministry "Buntu Yakaar," which means Door of Hope in the native language. Buntu Yakaar serves women and children who beg on the street every day in the dust, fumes and heat of West Africa. The majority of women come from surrounding countries. Many are crippled, uneducated and see no other opportunities out of their dire living conditions. Each week, Buntu Yakaar provides food, medical assistance and educational opportunities to these women and their children, all while sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

The Jacksons felt God calling them to the unreached people groups of West Africa. Their heart is to see the light of the gospel permeate this country by partnering with the local church and helping equip and raise local leaders who can go and carry this light amongst their people.

Carter and Danielle were married in 2020 and served in Honduras as missionaries for three years before moving to West Africa. They have two young children, Emmitt and Shiloh.
