We have a Deaf and special needs School which is right now primarily serving 9 deaf and special needs Muslim boys and 6 deaf or special needs girls. We use Equipping Minds, which is a brain-building curriculum to increase neurons and IQ. We also have a daily Bible Study and scripture memory with the kids, use ASL and Malawian sign language for our communication tool, and we use other curricula for Math, science, history, reading, and writing.  The children also learn permaculture and Farming God's way gardening skills and Alternative Building techniques, such as bottle and mud construction, mud in bags construction, and " garbage construction which uses wood treated poles, chicken mesh, non-biodegradable materials, and stucco mud with a lime sand to seal in the construction.  Girls learn how to make bread, too.  We have 15 students.  Michelle has also adopted 3 girls, two are double orphans who were being used as domestic laborers, and a Special Needs Child who was starving, being neglected, and left to play and hang out with Dogs.  She is praying now to enlarge the school by facilitating boarding, with the purchase of a near by farm which would allow us to increase our enrollment and be more self-sustaining.
