Valerie and Appolinaire Ntiganzwa
Valerie and Appolinaire met in Rwanda in 2006 while Valerie was visiting on a short-term mission trip. Neither of them could have anticipated the way that God would work in their hearts, calling them to marry and serve Him together in Rwanda. Drawn together by their love for the Lord and their heart for ministry in Rwanda, they were married in August of 2010.
Appolinaire is Rwandese and is a pastor by calling. He and Valerie now serve a rural congregation in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. Appolinaire also serves as director of PEFA Primary School, a church school he started in 2013, to minister to the community through quality Christian education. His school currently has over 250 students from nursery up to sixth grade.
Valerie started and currently administrates an Early Childhood Development Center near their home. Here she ministers to children ages 3-5 through play-based early education, a need she saw in the local community. Valerie also spends much of her time homeschooling four of their six children. They have four biological children (two boys and two girls) and two adopted Rwandan children (a boy and a girl) who are now young adults.
Appolinaire and Valerie are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with the people of Rwanda in practical ways and growing His church, preparing them to be a beautiful bride!
