David King
David King is preparing to bring the Gospel to the Middle East through relational evangelism and open sharing of the truth. He will be serving alongside other believers in an Arabic language center while he learns to speak the street language of the people. By facilitating events for the believing and nonbelieving students and teachers at the institute, David will seek to make Christ known through practical love and honest conversation. He will also be using his 7 years of construction experience to bless the institute with building maintenance. He is presently giving himself to the study of the dominate faith of the area in order to equip himself for genuine discussion with those who hold that faith. David believes that in order for many in the Middle East to turn to Him, they need people, both men and women, to share their faith boldly and wisely without fear.
David grew up in a nominal Christian home and always considered himself a "Christian". However, it was not until he turned 17 that he experienced the conviction of the Holy Spirit over the way he was living and was brought to repentance and faith in Him who he now knows to be His Savior and Lord. This Savior has radically transformed his life and has given him a zeal to bring this good news of salvation to as many as he is able, as well as to see those who come to faith grow into maturity in Him. After serving his Savior in his home town for the past ten years, he now is hearing the call to bring this Good News to those lost in darkness in the Middle East.
