Naomi Demmon
Naomi has been serving as a missionary in Draganesti-Olt, Romania since 2016. She is working alongside Hope Church and Hope for the Community Association to help bring the love and hope of Christ to Draganesti-Olt in southern Romania, a region facing both economic and spiritual poverty.
One of Naomi’s passions is working with children, which she does primarily through the local After School program. There are many children in the area who fall behind in their education and eventually drop out. The After School program seeks to help and encourage children by assisting with homework and providing supplemental materials and fun educational activities. The After School program also provides a way to reach out to mothers as well as the children in the community with the love and truth of the Gospel of Christ.
Naomi enjoys being a part of the Hope Church community, working alongside Romanians. She participates in worship, serving and special events held by the local church. Naomi has seen the importance of loving, serving and encouraging her fellow missionaries and brothers and sisters in Christ. Naomi also seeks to make the most of every opportunity to be a light of God’s gospel to non-believers in the community. God continues to grow her heart for the people of Draganesti-Olt.
