Marcello and Dawn Calvinisti
Marcello and Dawn serve in Guatemala with Holistic Hope, a ministry that brings the love of Christ to communities with no medical care, limited education and economic opportunity. Their work focuses on equipping families through hands-on training, practical resources, and education so entire communities can grow spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
They teach First Aid/CPR and preventative health practices where medical services are often more than an hour away. For more than a decade they’ve been bringing donated emergency vehicles and life-saving equipment to first responders. They also work in local schools, teaching soil preparation, dental hygiene, nutrition, and medicinal herb cultivation—skills that empower families to care for themselves and one another.
Marcello and Dawn involve their two young adult children and one teenager in ministry. All three regularly participate in community trainings and programs, learning alongside those they serve.
The Calvinisti family partners with local leaders, churches, and trusted organizations to help communities flourish.. Their desire is to see families strengthened, hope restored, and the Gospel embodied in practical, everyday ways that reflect the heart of God.
Donations are solicited with the understanding that CTENC maintains discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. You are not giving directly to the designated missionary, but are stating your preference for the CTENC ministry you wish to support. Our policy is to honor the donor’s request whenever possible.
