Sheri Cordes
After many years of teaching, Sheri saw that the biggest need of our generation is a good education and Jesus! If there is to be a revival, then we need to train up Godly future leaders with a solid Biblical worldview, and this begins with an intentional, Bible centered education. Using art and teaching as tools to share God's Word, Sheri obeyed God's calling and moved to Guatemala in 2017.
Her ministry grew in unexpected ways and is now two-fold. On one side, Art Elohim, is tutoring a variety of subjects along with art collaborations that encourage a Biblical worldview for the children of missionaries serving in Guatemala. While on the other side, Love Serve Repeat, focuses on working with the local indigenous children, with a vision to build the first secondary school in the Torremolinos area. In this area, there are 150 students, 5 teachers, and no school after the 5th grade. The majority of the students are the first in their families to go to school!
By encouraging students of all cultures to discover God in all aspects of the creative process, Sheri hopes that students will come to know Jesus and understand their own unique God given beautiful purpose and then themselves in turn serve Elohim, the Great Creator!
