Walter and Ruth (Peters) Dubón
Walter and Ruth Dubón serve in Guatemala, focusing on discipleship, mentorship, and equipping both local believers and foreign missionaries for ministry. Their work includes teaching, preaching, marriage counseling, training educators, and hosting a missionary internship program. They also engage in outreach to rural communities, providing Bible studies, health education, and practical support to families in need.
Walter and Ruth have served in ministry for over 20 years. Walter, originally from Guatemala, has been involved in pastoral ministry and teaching, while Ruth, originally from Canada, has worked extensively in discipleship, administration, and missionary support. Their two children, Samuel and Kathe, are now young adults serving and working in Guatemala as well. Walter and Ruth have a passion for seeing lives transformed through God’s Word, deepening faith, fostering servant-hearted leadership, and preparing others to serve effectively in Guatemala and beyond.
