Chris & Vickie Nichols
Chris and Vickie Nichols “serve the world” globally as a CTEN pastoral care couple supporting missionaries across South America, parts of Central America, and three Asian countries. Their desire is to listen well, to care for, and diligently pray for and visit missionaries across their worldwide territory. While they focus on this task, they also invest their lives locally in disciple-making and in the spiritual growth of the diverse international community where they live in Quito, Ecuador.
Together, they are humbly asking God to use their background in cross-cultural adoption, in teaching and coaching, in engineering & leadership development, and in pastoral work to make disciples of Jesus Christ in every culture, and to spread His glory in the nations through their lives.
Married in 1988, Chris and Vickie are the parents of nine adult children and eight grandchildren. While raising their four biological children, God led them into cross cultural adoption journeys, bringing five older children from Kiev, Ukraine into their biological family. Later, God replanted their lives into serving the world in Quito, Ecuador through various gospel opportunities.
