Matthew Robinson

Matt Robinson is a widower and the father of three wonderful children. He knows grief not merely in theory, but through lived experience after the loss of his wife of fourteen years to cancer. Out of his personal journey through sorrow, Sons of the Shepherd was born with a burden to reach men who are hurting, walking alongside them through seasons of grief, confusion, and rebuilding. This ministry exists to offer hope, biblical truth, and brotherhood to men who are learning how to carry their grief while still leading their families, their faith, and their lives. Matt’s heart is to share the Gospel with those suffering in the midnight hour of their soul, that they might find hope and healing. Sons of the Shepherd provides relational evangelism to widowers of all ages through one-on-one relationships, safe and understanding spaces to grieve, Bible studies, online resources, workshops, future retreats, care packages, mentorship, GriefShare classes for those experiencing loss, and community outreach events for hurting men. Matt would be honored to partner with others in this unique ministry as he leads people closer to the Good Shepherd.
