Personnel Director: About the Position

Mandate is an organization that places those called to serve in locations that are difficult for traditional missions to go. We are seeking a people person with the ability to work remotely and a heart for outreach and networking to take this leading opportunity in a growing organization. This position requires the individual to raise his or her own support. Reports to Executive Director.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Has primary responsibility for all personnel from first contact until they complete their assignments
2. Help develop and implement outreach strategies for recruitment
3. Serve as the point of contact for our partner organizations overseas and cultivate a relationship of rapport.
4. Ensure individuals are trained and equipped before arrival in their respective organizations
5. Keep communication open with individuals and organizations during the individuals’ time on the field
6. Coordinate missions conference representation
7. Help in development of promotional and training materials
8. Other duties as requested

Qualifications and Skills

1. Passion for missions and commitment to the great commission
2. Cross-cultural or missions experience strongly preferred
3. Experience in networking, recruitment, or marketing
4. Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
5. Ability or experience in raising support required. Already having a sending agency preferred.
6. Ability to travel domestically. Occasional international travel.
7. Ability to work remotely
8. Faithful church involvement
9. Agreement with Mandate Doctrine and Policies
