Mark De Haan
Mark De Haan will begin work in Ecuador in 2022. As a civil engineer, Mark will work on engineering water systems in rural communities. Mark will support the work of CODEINSE, an Ecuadorian ministry that is located in Riobamba and works primarily with Quichua communities in the Andes Mountains. Mark was first connected to engineering work in Ecuador through a design project while studying in university and has stayed connected to this work in his professional career, raising funds and providing technical support as a member of an organization called Safe Water in Ecuador.
Mark has felt the call in his life to be an agent of renewal and to work toward the reconciliation of all things, using his gifts to do this in the areas of water distribution and sanitation. Mark is excited to step into this work full time and to see how God will use him in this ministry.
