Everett and Terrie Barker
Everett and Terrie Barker live in Edinburg, Texas, and minister in the Rio Grande Valley along the US & Mexico border. Their ministry vision is to see the uniquely diverse local Body of Christ in the RGV coming together in such a way that our communities are transformed and that Jesus Christ would be lifted high in the Border Region, to the Americas, and to the Nations.
The Barkers believe that there is a strategic need in the Rio Grande Valley to connect the many missional outreaches ministering to the poor and needy along the US / Mexico border.
They are working to network Churches, para-church ministries, and individuals to more effectively equip and mobilize resources within the Body of Christ for greater Kingdom impact.
Everett and Terrie seek to build discipleship-like relationships that encourage growing communication, collaboration and fellowship that will demonstrate to a watching world, the transforming power of the love of Christ.
The Barkers have been both encouraged and affirmed in this leading by local ministry leaders, and through the words of Jesus as He prayed in John 17 “…that they may be one”.
