Colin and Madalyn
Colin and Madalyn are passionate about helping those who are victimized and oppressed find hope and restore their identity through new beginnings.
We are working amongst very poor communities in SE Asia, trying to bring freedom and opportunity to precious women who are vulnerable to or already have been trafficked through the sex trade.
We run a youth house where young women from high-risk communities can come and live for free while also having an opportunity to go to school. Since most families can't afford to send their children to school, many of these girls are uneducated, impoverished, and desperate and often become easy targets for traffickers to manipulate and coerce. We believe in these precious women and want them to achieve their dreams while they are in the process of being restored and mentored in a safe community.
Our goal is to partner with local like-minded businesses who can help train and then hire our girls after they graduate from high school. Our definition of "success" is for these girls to become emotionally healthy, independent, empowered young women who are well-equipped to thrive in the 21st century and who can one day be at a place where they can then help others.
We also run a coffee shop that will be used to train, equip, and empower survivors in a safe environment.
