Paul and Sherry Sudolcan
Paul and Sherry are striving to glorify God by embracing his call to nurture and disciple students. They understand God’s call for their ministry is centered on ministering to students in the Philippines and their strategic focus is to disciple students in the context of a Bible College ministry. Paul will be serving as an adjunct professor at Baptist Bible College of Asia and together through formal teaching times and informal discipleship and nurturing times, they desire to built meaningful discipleship relationships with Filipino students.
They both want to see students grow in their faith and embrace their role as ambassadors of Christ to the Philippines and beyond. Their vision is to help students grow in their passion for Christ, seeking him as the treasure of infinite value that brings unsurpassable joy!
Critical to their calling is an understanding that the study and application of God’s word is the central issue in discipleship. In addition, they are convinced that God’s word is the inspired and inerrant word of God. Coupled with this foundational belief is the conviction that the Holy Spirit is the one who brings spiritual growth in a person’s life, not a person’s own best efforts.
Paul and Sherry are grateful for God’s gift of eternal life! They recognize that God’s grace gives them the provision, purpose, protection, and growth they need as they serve the King. They strive to remember that apart from God, they can do nothing. They desire to glorify God and help others to know and serve him. Their prayer is that they would continuously allow God’s Spirit to work through them and that they would endeavor to never work in their own strength.
Paul and Sherry have been married for over 40 years and have been blessed with seven children and seven grandchildren. They have spent most of their adult lives ministering to students and their families.
