Enrique and Letty Rodriguez
Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,
We are Enrique and Letty Rodriguez, missionaries and pastors commissioned to serve in the city of Matamoros, Mexico.
By God’s grace, we are the founder pastors of a growing Christian community called Oasis in this vibrant border city. Our journey together has been one of faith, resilience, and a deep passion for building community. Interestingly, my story began far from ministry — I was originally trained as a Civil Engineer! That background gave me a systematic approach to solving problems, but my heart longed for something more: to support and uplift others through the love of Christ.
I was called to become a Pastor, and this calling led us to plant Oasis, which began as a small church but, through God’s care, has now grown into 10 individual congregations, each cared for by devoted pastoral couples.
In addition to this, we also serve as directors of Casa Comfort — a place of refuge, hospitality, and hope. Here, we house, feed, and care for people from South America, especially vulnerable single mothers and their children. These families make the long and dangerous journey north, often leaving everything behind in hopes of reuniting with loved ones in the United States.
Many of them travel through jungles, cross rivers, ride atop freight trains, and face the constant threat of kidnapping. Yet, despite the risks, they press forward, seeking a better future. At Casa Comfort, we offer them a safe place to rest and recover — a tangible expression of God’s love in the midst of hardship.
We are so grateful that we have been able to serve these precious families. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our ministry. We would love to share more with you and see how God might connect our hearts for His Kingdom work.
